Internationally recognized as one of the three largest boxing promotional firms in the world, New Jersey Sports Productions, Inc T/A Main Events is based in Bloomfield, NJ with its sister companies, Main Events/Monitor, Main Events Television and Main Events Promotions, LLC. Kathy Duva is chief executive officer of Main Events, which was founded in 1978 by her late husband, Dan Duva. Main Events/Monitor originated in 1984 and METV was formed in 1993.
Most notable among the highly talented boxers currently under contract to Main Events are two-time junior middleweight champion Fernando Vargas, two-time world champion Arturo Gatti, and WBA world lightweight champion Juan Diaz
The Main Events roster also contains several Olympians from the 2000 Olympic Games, including top-10 featherweight contender Rocky Juarez, undefeated U.S. Olympic Super Heavyweight Calvin Brock, and undefeated U.S. Olympic Super Heavyweight-Alternate Malik Scott.
