- Starting out in 1983 as Maddox Mission BBS running Darkstar BBS on an old Commodore C-64 and an external 1200 baud modem, the main focus of the BBS was trading software. At that time I was an Cryptographic Technician Operator (CTO) stationed aboard the USS John F Kennedy in Norfolk, VA. I worked in the Combat Information Center Operations OS division and was part of the ever so elite, Ship Signals Exploitation Spaces.
