Joseph Lubner knows more than a little about the furniture he specifies, He has held positions as Director of Design for a major international furniture group and as Design Services Manager for Haworth, Inc. the world's third largest office furniture systems manufacturer. A graduate of Kendall School of Design, Joe owned and operated his own design firm in Johannesburg, South Africa before emigrating to the United States in 1979. Following his experience as a showroom and corporate facilities designer Joe formed Joseph Lubner Designs, a commercial design firm located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The work of Joseph Lubner designs can be seen in offices, restaurants, boutiques and retail outlets in and outside of the United States. Leading contract furniture manufacturers utilize the services of Joseph Lubner Designs for their showrooms in Chicago's Merchandise Mart, and in Design Centers in New York, California, Texas and Georgia.
