The Local received an increase in AFSCME dues. However, we will NOT pass this increase to the members of Local 1321 at this time.I urge all members to e-mail Senator Schumer and Senator Gillibrand urging them to include librarians as part of the $18 billion for hiring and retaining librarians in jobs that provide public services in President Obama's "Jobs for Main Street Act."
