And although she doesn't get as much time as she'd like to spend in the soil, the result of her passion can be seen on Linda's patio garden filled with colorful flowers all summer long.
Linda's passion for gardening is actually somewhat of a family tradition. Linda's grandmother and mother were both avid gardeners right here in Hampton Roads, and from a very young age, Linda was taught that with enough care, nurturing and know-how, there is always the opportunity for meaningful growth.
The result of those lessons can be seen not only in Linda's garden, but in the way she lives her entire life. A fourth-generation Peninsula native, she has always devoted her time and energy to local community organizations and her church, all in the aim of maintaining the area's high quality of life and fostering growth within the youth of the community.
