- was born in the UK and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She graduated from the Alexander Mackie Teacher's College (Sydney) with a three year degree in Science and Education. After coming to the USA, she attended the Esoteric Philosophy Center in Houston, Texas obtaining a degree in Metaphysics. She also served as chairperson of the Centric committee (the Center's newspaper) and increased circulation to 50,000 from 10,000 over a three year period. Upon graduation she served on the Board of directors of the Center for two consecutive terms.
