Over 25 years ago I began selling typewriters ... yes, typewriters ...and calculators (a Texas Instrument TI30 calculator sold for 9.00!) on campus during my senior year at college.
My "place of business"consisted of my living room as my stockroom, my kitchen table served as my desk which accommodated my answering machine and telephone (an old rotary phone!).
I advertised my wares on campus with flyers I posted on school bulletin boards during my free periods. In the late afternoon I would deliver,setup and demonstrate the products I sold.
