Title
La Vista Recovery & Wholeness Center for Women - San Jacinto, San Bernardino County, California
Description
Founded in 1974 by Mary O'Donnell, La Vista was the first woman's recovery home in Riverside County. Mary's dream blossomed over the next twenty-six years to include perinatal and senior woman's house. Mary's vision is now being carefully nurtured and continued under the guidance of Executive Director, Jane Farmer.
The Main House is a three-story Spanish style home located high atop a hill overlooking the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley. This house contains twenty beds including the non-medical detox unit.
The Cozy Cottage is a lovely home that reflects a message of warmth and welcome for our residents. Since its opening in 1993 we have been blessed with 61 sober/clean babies born to sober/clean mothers recovering from the ravages of their addictions.
