The company was founded in 1991 as a small-scale enterprise 'Mysl' and started its activity with the application of scientific developments in agricultural enterprises of Stavropol region as well as biogumus, fruit seedling and flower seed production. In the course of time the range of goods and the scope of activities have enlarged. At present time 'KVN-Agro' is a growing company, which has constant partners in Stavropol region and in other regions in the south of Russia.The parent enterprise has hihly qualified personnel with higher education in the area of agriculture.
The company specializes in hybrid sunflower, rape, flax, soya, coriander, maize, and mustard seed production. 'KVN-Agro' also sells oil-bearing and grain seeds.
In 1994 the company initiated a project of growing winter food rape in North Caucasus and imported a large consignment of foreign seeds. Taking risk was justified. Some years later the winter rape acres of crop quadrupled and came to more than 60.000 hectares. Both seed quality and crop capacity improved.
