The century old Kalyani Group encompasses four tea estates spread over 3500 acres in Assam and Dooars. Each of these estates have their own production facilities close to the plantation area. The group specializes in the production of Green and Black Tea and is one of the largest producers of Green Tea in the country. Recently, the group also ventured into the entertainment industry. The group established a film production house as well as a distribution company alongside.
This is the only estate in the region and is surrounded by forest on all four sides. Such an ideal location attracts plenty of visitors to this estate every year. Over the last few years, the estate has earned a reputation for producing strong, invigorating liquor.
One of the newer gardens of the region, the estate has a state of the art production facility. Owing to its high production capacity and relatively small plantation, the company also purchases tea leaves from external gardens to convert leaves into the finished product.
