JaniCon is a Japanese Animation Convention held in Jacksonville, Fl. The 2007 convention was held on November 2 - 4, 2007 at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk. The 2008 convention is being held on November 21 - 23, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville. JaniCon is the first solely anime convention in the Jacksonville area and plans to be a permanent convention in Jacksonville.
