2INTERACTIVE was originally started in 1997 in Redding California. The company became a Limited Liability Company in 2000. Brock Eastman started the company out as a web hosting and web page design company. From there the company grew from a half dozen hosting customers to hundreds. In 1999, the company was relocated to Chico. During this time the company focused on doing business in the dedicated server and web hosting industry. To be competitive in this environment, a data center was needed that had backup power, and lots of bandwidth and connectivity.
