- ICMA. This is the website of the Irish Church Music Association. The ICMA was set up in Ireland in 1969. It works to improve the use of music in the liturgy and in encouraging our composers to offer their talents in response to the requirements of the liturgy in our communities. Every year the ICMA runs a Summer School in St Patrick's College, Maynooth with a Guest Director and a choice of tutorials. The summer school attracts participants of all ages from around the island of Ireland, both North and South. It also publishes liturgical music and is a resource point for news relating to liturgical and musical developments in the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland.
