A sense about what's happening at a time and a place. The time can be now, then, or tomorrow. Folks music tells tales: bitter tales and sweet tales. Tales about the wants, needs, desires, values and vices of the folks. Folks in Iraq and the Middle East; folks who are ballerinas, space rangers, vampires, and actresses; drunk driving folks and folks having heart surgery; tales about animal rights and animal wrongs, blood and guts and rat guts; love, hate, and betrayal.
