- In June 2006 I was approached by the BBC and asked if I would like to be filmed for a TV program as a 'stay at home' Dad. This sounded like it could be a bit of a laugh, so why not. After discussions with the production team I was told that it was for a program called Perfect Housewife, hosted by Anthea Turner. I had never seen this program but still agreed to go ahead. I shall go deeper into the pain, anguish, highs and lows later but for now shall say that it all went ahead and the show was screened on BBC3 on 24th August 2006. All my family and friends enjoyed the show immensely and had a good laugh about it. It had been very well cut and (we thought) was excellent entertainment. I was portrayed as lazy and bone idle!
