About The House Carpenters
The House Carpenters have built traditional timber framed houses and barns for 25 years throughout New England. Our frames are constructed in the mortise and tenon style of the eighteenth century. White Pine, Oak and Fir timber are used in combinations that provide strength for clear spans, unobstructed space, and the beauty of heavy timber construction. We can provide a timber frame package delivered to your site ready for your builder to assemble, or if you prefer, we can fully erect the frame on your foundation.
House Carpenters is owned by James Mizaur. We are located in Montague, Massachusetts, affording good access to a large selection of Native Woods. Timbers are cut and finished in our shop and shipped by truck to building sites anywhere in the continental U.S.
