HeartStrings was established to provide quality instruction to knitters who want their items to be very special, as well as practical and enjoyable to knit. Knitters of all skill levels have been enjoying knitting patterns designed and produced by Jackie Erickson-Schweitzer.

The response has been fabulous! Jackie E-S has continued to expand the HeartStrings knitting pattern Design Collections for lace scarves and shawls, footwear, smoke ring cowls, dickeys, sweaters, and miniature beaded lace. In addition, HeartStrings is pleased to bring knitters and non-knitters alike, a fine selection of textiles-related gifts.

Jackie is a long-time knitting enthusiast, who shares her love of knitting and experience through guild groups, classes, and networking with other fiber artists. In "real life" she is an information technology consultant. Knitting has always been a relaxing and fulfilling counterpart to a sometimes stressful technical career. More recently, Jackie has become an avid spinner, and uses hand-spun yarns in her knitted display models, in addition to those commercially available.
