About Headway Software
Headway Software was conceived in a basement in Calgary, Canada, during the winter of 1999 by Chris Chedgey. Chris was formerly a lead architect at companies such as SPAR Aerospace Canada, Computing Devices Canada and General Dynamics. With a vision to provide software development teams with a true insight into the architectural integrity of their software, Chris moved himself and the fledgling Headway Software to Ireland, where, with a group of colleagues, he raised over US$5m.
With the award winning, Headway Review, the company attracted customers such as Delta Airlines, UBS, Wells Fargo, EMC, Lockheed Martin, NASA and Raytheon.
Reverse engineering of source-code presents huge challenges in terms of performance, scalability and usability. The engine behind all Headway's products, the HiGraph, is now on its third major iteration, and the results can be seen in the recently released, Structure101. Our existing customers were quick to realize that Structure101 is a vastly superior product to its predecessor, Headway Review, particularly in terms of performance, scalability and usability.
