Telluride Helitrax's guides spend each day of the ski season observing, recording, and sharing snow, weather, and avalanche observations from within their alpine workplace. They are trained professionals who hold avalanche and explosive certifications, instruct avalanche courses, and are cautious in their decision making. In twenty-three years of powder skiing in the San Juans, Helitrax has never had a guest so much as caught in an avalanche.
