Your hard disk needs to be properly attached to your computer case. This is a hard drive caddy’s purpose and it does the job well, but only when properly installed. Make sure the drive itself is attached properly to the caddy. This is usually done with screws. The attachment of the caddy to the case may also be done with screws, but in some cases it may be designed to simply slide into a designated slot, and snap in securely.
