English Hande Dalkilic is a classically trained pianist who is equally at ease with the modern composers' pieces. Despite her young age, she has been acknowledged as a pioneer in promoting the music of the later Turkish composers, known for its complexity and beauty. Dalkilic's appearances are in high demand around the world.Thanks to her virtuosity and dynamic style. She is one of the top exponents of the new generation of pianists, destined to preserve and enrich the legacy of this wonderful instrument.

Hande Dalkiliç was born in Ankara. At the age of 8, she started her piano education with Prof. Güherdal Karamanoglu. In 1989, she started preparatory school in Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and studied with Prof. Ersin Onay. She graduated from the Music Department in 1996 with first rank in the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts.Dalkiliç continued her master's studies with Prof. Ersin Onay, mostly working on Ahmed Adnan Saygun's piano compositions. She realized the premier performance of Saygun's last work Op. 76 Piano Sonata and recorded a CD (under BMP label) also including his other masterpieces. She completed her Master Degree in 1999 and Proficiency in Art degree in 2003. 

Besides her recitals and chamber music concerts in her native country and abroad (Bulgaria, England, Egypt, Ethiopia,France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Kenya, Northern Cyprus, Romania, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia and Ukraine) she gave concerts with well known Turkish and foreign orchestras. Some of the significant festivals that she has participated are 34th Sofia International Music Festival, Cartage Music Festival (Tunisia, 2002), 18th and 22nd Ankara International Music Festival, 5th Antalya Piano Festival and 9th International Bellapais Music Festival (Northern Cyprus). In March 2002, she performed Bach concertos with worldwide great masters of piano who are Turkish State Artists, Idil Biret and Aysegül Sarica. Her CD (BMP label) of the Piano Concerto No.1 by A. Adnan Saygun recorded from her concert accompanied by Bilkent Symphony Orchestra on the occasion of "Contemporary Turkish Composers Year" in February 2000, has specifically gained great admiration. Dalkilic's recent album, "Country Colors" by the Turkish composer Muammer Sun which consists of four books for piano, has been released out on BMP and KALAN label. In October 2004 for the CD sponsored by Central Bank of Republic of Turkey on the occasion of Turkish composer Cemal Reşit Rey's centennial, she recorded his piano concerto "Variations on an Istanbul Song" with Bursa State Symphony Orchestra. Besides her concerts and recording activities, Dalkiliç, who became associated professor in March 2006, is a piano professor at Bilkent University, Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Ankara,Turkey.
