- The original Irish Setters owned by my mother and father were mainly of Wendover/Timadon lines. They had been purchased from the late Walter Thompson of the Moirabank affix. The early enthusiasts from this kennel mainly showed at Open Shows within Northern Ireland. Eventually my father's career meant that dog shows had to take a back seat for a number of years and it was only in 1989 when I purchased my first house, that the breed I had loved and treasured as a child came back into my life.
