Description
From an early age Graham Papworth was destined to be a designer of one kind or another, he began his working life as a cadet draftsman for a consulting engineering firm at age 16.
Whilst working for the highly progressive Geoffrey Burchill and Partners Consulting Engineers and Planners he successfully completed a Certificate in Civil Engineering (DOT) and worked as a design draughtsman on many large residential projects, some which included golf courses were amongst the first developments of their type in Australia.
In 1978 Graham set up his own design draughting service and worked in various fields of design including building architecture, landscaping, irrigation, civil and structural engineering and as chance would have it golf course design.
