Description
I've been creating glass beads now since 2002 and have been designing jewelry since 1997. I find this art medium very exhilarating! Each glass bead is unique within itself. Whether wearing one bead or being draped in a potpourri of beads, it is the vibrant splash of color that make these little morsels very special and leaves the true glass enthusiast wanting for more.
My family and I live in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains among the redwood trees located just south of San Francisco. I've had the good fortune to be involved in medium format black and white photography for eight years, and fiber arts for five years prior to taking an interest in the glass arts. My career in the electronics industry for 16 years allowed me the means to be involved in the various art mediums I've enjoyed tremendously over the years.
Coming soon will be pictures of my studio... but in the meantime, my equipment includes a Nortel Minor torch, propane tank, oxygen generator, a top fire Jen-Ken kiln, and a hooded exhaust system.
