hi! Thanks for visiting my website. I started this business because I wanted neat martial arts t-shirts, espcially ones for women. But I couldn't find any, so I decided to make my own, and use the proceeds to help fund my martial arts habit. I study a mixed bag of stuff - I live here in the middle of nowhere (well, the middle of Iowa, but that's practially the same thing) so I take whatever good instruction I can find. I study some Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido (hence the name - yes, I really AM a girl, and yes, I DO have a sword), some Jodo (would love to do more!), and a wee bit of judo and jiujitsu (the brazilian kind, I'd love to do "real" Japanese jiujitsu but hey, I take what I can get). There's lessons to be learned everywhere.
I've got lots of new ideas for shirts, so please check back to see if I've added something new. I've gotten wonderful ideas from customers - if you have an idea for a t-shirt, I'd love to see it! Drop me a line at girlwithasword@yahoo.com
