London’s definitive indie-dance festival Get Loaded in the Park swaggers back into town on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th August 2007 for a 4th rock n’ roll year of live music, DJs & festival fun - on home turf Clapham Common. As part of the Metro Weekender (together with dance all-dayer South West Four – held the previous day), Get Loaded’s award-winning festival has established itself as one of the UK’s most groundbreaking inner-city events, and last year’s sell out show was widely regarded as the best ‘Get Loaded’ yet. Having rejuvenated Pete Doherty’s Babyshambles last summer and helped break the likes of Lily Allen, The Pipettes and Guillemots to a wider audience, whilst Tiga, Erol Alkan, Green Velvet and Digitalism kept the electro freaks happy in the Dance Arena!! Plus we were rather chuffed to have picked up 3 nominations at the UK Festival Awards 2006 for Best One Day Festival, Best New Festival and Innovation Award (Ticket buyers were given a free and exclusive track by headliners Babyshambles, plus access to a new secret website). Back in 2004 Get Loaded in the Park scooped Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards.
