Welcome to the Furness Railway Trust's award-winning official website. The website dates back to 2000, and was substantially redesigned in 2002. We hope you like what you see, but either way, please email the webmaster with any comments you may have.
The site is hosted on a sponsorship basis by Furness Internet, the Barrow-in-Furness Internet Service Provider. The Trust would like to record its thanks to Furness Internet for providing the use of its servers free of charge. New web addresses have now been registered through Furness Internet for the Lakeside Railway Society and our folk band Live Steam, and these will be developed into separate websites in the future. The Site Search Engine is provided by whatuseek, also free of charge. The Trust has entered into a similar "at no cost" sales arrangement for our portfolio of high quality Fund-raising Merchandise with the Barrow-in-Furness online retailer edirectory.co.uk.

The website is divided into a number of "chapters" detailing our various activities. The best way to find your way around the site is to use the red buttons at the top of every page.
