Philosophy

At H & R Agri-Power, we believe our job begins after the sale. Service and parts support are the cornerstones on which the business is based. We strive to have the part you need – when you need it. We have over $1.5 Million of parts in stock. Our computerized parts records allow us to track history on each individual part number. Once a part has been requested 3 times, we’ll stock it. As long as we can sell at least one every 18 months, we’ll continue to stock it. Also, we carry all of the manufacturer’s recommended stock for new models. Service at H&R Agri-Power is top priority. We have 19 technicians, 3 drivers, 2 setup specialists, 2 detail specialists, and 5 service management employees to serve you. We have over 60,000 square feet of shop floor space at our 3 sites. We have service trucks ready to go “fix it” on the farm. We do pre-season inspections to make sure you have “Up-Time” when it really matters.

History

H & R Implement Co., Inc. was founded in 1959 by Dalton Hancock, and located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The first contract the company held was with Minneapolis-Moline and Oliver. Mr. Hancock retired in the late seventies and Ross and Brenda Morgan bought the business. New Holland and Ford contracts were later added. Agri-Power, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Wayne Hunt. The business began in Hopkinsville, Kentucky by taking over a Case company store. Kubota and Bush Hog were quickly added. Agri-Power built and started a new dealership in Russellville, Kentucky in 1992. H & R Agri-power was formed in 1993 by the merger of H & R Implement Co., Inc and Agri-Power, Inc. H & R Agri-Power added the Owensboro, Kentucky location in 1994. The two Hopkinsville sites were consolidated into one location in 1999. This created a mega-store hub for the operation with over 40,000 square feet of floor space.
