For Counsel, Inc. is located in the great Pacific Northwest in a suburb of Portland, Oregon. We are an hour away from the Ocean and just over that from some great mountain skiing. When it is not raining, we have great views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. For Counsel was started in 1985 by Art Kroos, then an international lawyer for a Fortune 100 company. During his travels Mr. Kroos found law related items he felt would be of interest to colleagues.
