- Florida Elite Volleyball Club was originally founded as the Volusia Volleyball Club in 1992. It then evolved into Daytona Beach Juniors. In 1998, Daytona Beach Juniors became a USAV only club. In 2001, Cara Swayze and Debbie Rawlins came together and decided that there needed to be more opportunities for everyone to play volleyball. So Florida Elite Volleyball Club was then formed to not only give young ladies the chance to play volleyball in USAV but also the chance to play AAU volleyball.
