History: FAHE was started in 1980 by socially conscious entrepreneurs who saw that impoverished families in rural areas had limited access to capital for suitable housing solutions. The creation of FAHE allowed affordable housing providers to share experiences, form a unified voice, and share access to resources to develop quality housing.
