European Hair Design, Inc. Salon and Academy is a full-service beauty school and salon dedicated to consistently providing quality service to our customers and a quality education to our students. We are approved and licensed by the Connecticut Examining Board for Barbers and Hairdressers and The Department of Public Health. Our salon-oriented curriculum produces professional, knowledgeable, and skilled graduates ready to compete and excel in the industry.

Our mission is to reflect, as realistically as possible, a modern salon environment. The "clinic floor", while still a controlled educational environment, strives to echo that of a real salon. The academy goes beyond the standard education students obtain from other schools. Our students receive apprenticeship-type training with one-on-one instruction and an interactive approach to our curriculum. Our students are guided by educators with seasoned experience as competitors, instructors, salon owners and designers.
