EODData was started in early 2003 to provide free quality end of day stock market data to traders everywhere. Through advertising revenue and by charging a small fee for historical data, we are able to pay our monthly data costs. As we grow and more members subscribe to our premium services we are able to invest that money into better data feeds and new products and services. Our goal is to keep providing free data and to expand the number of exchanges available to our members.
Stock market data is not cheap and some exchanges are a lot more expensive than others. EODData only promotes exchanges that have little or no license fees for end of day data and are in reasonable demand. Unfortunately, some exchanges have a monopoly in their country and charge data vendors accordingly. If we do not have data for a reasonable size exchange then chances are they charge like wounded bulls.
Our staff have many years experience in managing and delivering market information to investors and other businesses. We have a variety of servers that are dedicated to finding and correcting the numerous errors that stock exchanges produce. All of our historical data has been carefully screened and adjusted for splits.
