It's that time of year again. On this site is your 2005 schedule, rules and regulations. There have been a couple of changes, READ YOUR RULES CAREFULLY. GM cars must be 1978 or newer; Ford, Chrysler and front wheel drive cars must be 1980 or newer. Full size foreign cars may be of any year. Mini-Cars class must be 1980 or newer, with a wheelbase shorter than 105 inches and a 6-cylinder or smaller motor, and must participate in mini-car events only, cannot compete with full size cars. One rule change on the full size cars, Section B, line 11. The new rule is if rubber biscuits are removed, they MUST be replaced with an 1 1/2" steel spacer, round pipe tubing, square tubing, washers, etc. Frame seams must be visible. Don't forget we still have the Bore-A-Scope for inspections and we can still see inside your frame rails.
"THE GREAT MISSOURI SHOOTOUT" will again be held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Troy, MO. The date is Saturday, September 17th, at 6:00PM. Show format will be Dual Demo Derby for full size cars, $3400 purse, $1200 feature winner, $200 rider bonus. Special MINI-CAR HEAT, 100% payback of entry fees with a minimum $300 to the winner.
