- Michael A. Baer, PhD is a Neuropsychologist, Clinical Psychologist and a Forensic Psychologist. He is Chairman Emeritus of the American Psychotherapy Association and the American College of Forensic Examiners, International. He is a founding and active member of the board of directors of NAPPP. This past year 2006 he received the Congressional Medal of Distinction, The Professional Achievement Award from Wesleyan University, and the Doctor of Science (Hon.) from Rice University. He has 73 peer reviewed publications and many professionally presented papers in a wide variety of areas of psychology. He is chairman of the American Board of Psychological Specialties. He is a diplomate in Neuropsychology, Clinical psychology and Forensic psychology.
