History

The Dover Corporation began in Delaware in 1947, and went public in 1955. The corporation has continued to acquire new business ventures throughout its history, diversifying and growing into an umbrella corporation employing more than 31,000 workers. In 2006 Dover acquired several cash machine companies, further diversifying its business focuses. Cash Point Machines PLC and Infocash/Cash Services Limited brought the cash services industry into the Dover fold.
