Chris Justus knows people. His hands hold a camera, but his heart holds the hands of the couple getting married. It can be a tumultuous decision to make when choosing just the right videographer to film the most important moments of your life, but let's get real: What brides want more than anything is to have "My Best Friend's Wedding" meets "Cinderella" captured in a DVD. After filming my wedding, I watched the DVD wondering if I could be nominated for an Oscar - that's how good he made me look.
Chris studied under the Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Jerry Aronson and was one of the last students of the prolific experimental filmmaker Stan Brakhage. Chris doesn't have boundaries with his editing - he loves the process, and that passion and energy is evident in the final product.
In addition to incredible features like deleted scenes and the ability to get your video edited in one week after your event, Chris's Option Three includes a one hour video, eight DVDs, a photomontage presentation with live video of the couple incorporated into it, a Hollywood-style theatrical trailer, and 24 still photographs (or production stills) worked into the final film. When the DVD's finished, it looks like it would belong in the romance section of Blockbuster.
