Antabuse has been used for many decades to treat alcohol abuse. Pellets of disulfiram are now available rather than the once a day dosing required for Antabuse. The pellets can also be used to treat alcohol abuse as well as stimulant abuse. Disulfiram pellets are replaced every two months or three months, depending on the size of the pellet.
