Diamond Brokerage Service, Inc. was founded in Fairfax County, Virginia several years ago (February 1999) by CEO and President Martin P. Hernandez.
Marty worked and managed at the retail level for almost 12 years with some of the finest major retail jewelry chains in the nation (most notably, jewelry companies Merksamer Jewelers and J.B. Robinson Jewelers.) During that time he was personally responsible for over $15 million in diamond engagement ring and jewelry sales, and thousands of satisfied customers.
Diamond Brokerage Service, Inc was born from the idea that charging customers 200%, 300% and even 400% over cost wasn't right. There was a definite need for alternative sources where customers could purchase the fine quality jewelry they wanted, without spending every penny of their hard-earned money to get it.
