Auckland based concrete specialist, Dean Lawson, founder of Custom Concrete Ltd, has been working in the concreting industry for 18 years, providing a concrete service to domestic and commercial clients.
In 1997 Dean recognised the understated potential of concrete and set out to explore and challenge traditional concrete concepts. The result of this was the construction of a Paua shell concrete benchtop that displayed unrealised potential and true kiwi ingenuity.
Since this time, Custom Concrete Ltd have actively perfected the technique of handcrafting kitchen and bathroom concrete benchtops, concrete hearths, concrete furniture and other concrete products providing a unique, unequalled alternative to traditional options.
