Curlew Cottage: superb Caithness holiday cottage
Description
Set amid high farmland, four miles south of Thurso, this country cottage stands in a very peaceful location yet is only ten minutes drive from the town. The cottage has its own attractive garden and commands panoramic views across Caithness to the distant mountains of Morven, Ben Klibreck and Ben Hope.
Just along the road is a small area of coniferous woodland belonging to Curlew Cottage in which the public are free to walk. In Summer the wood is rich with wild flowers, birds, butterflies and dragonflies.
The cottage sleeps four, in two bedrooms - one double, one twin. Duvets and blankets are provided. For a baby, a high chair and travel cot are available at no extra charge (cot blankets and cot linen are not provided). We also have a folding 'Z-bed'which is suitable for an additional child.
