Last July, I took part in a group admissions interview at George Fox. Instead of asking us questions, the professors conducting the interview gave us instructions for completing a group task. We were given ten images and asked to first come to consensus as to the meaning of each image, then rank them in order of importance. You know the exercise – it’s the one that usually ends with someone running out of the room in tears. Internally, I balked. I don’t like ranking exercises.
