Description
CRAFT CRAZY is a small craft shop with big ideas, located in the village of Thelwall near Warrington in Cheshire. The owner, Hilary Carroll, has always been interested in crafts from being a small child. All through her adult life she has completed many courses at day / night school in every subject you could think of gradually building up her knowledge and expertise in most forms of arts and crafts. Hilary is also City and Guilds qualified in Flower Arranging.
In 1999 she became ill with breast cancer. Hilary dealt with this news the only way she new how, by booking on yet more craft courses.She has made so many friends along the way, and swears that it was her family, friends and crafts that got her through this terrible time. When it was time to return to work Hilary felt that she had been given another chance in life and wanted a career change into something closer to her heart. By this time the family house was bulging at the seams with so many craft items, and it seemed a natural next step to open a craft shop. So CRAFT CRAZY was born. Ray, Hilary’s husband, suggested the name because it just about sums her up.
