To accomplish this goal, we have remained solely devoted to one specialized field; the diagnostic evaluation, repair and corrosion protection of deteriorated reinforced concrete structures.
CONCORR Florida, Inc. is a spin off company from CONCORR, Inc. which was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Virginia. In 2001, CONCORR Florida, Inc. was created in response to an ever-increasing need for specialized concrete corrosion and rehabilitation services within the State of Florida. Centrally based in Merritt Island, CONCORR Florida, Inc. stands ready and committed to serving our Florida based clients.
Our president and principal, Mr. William T. Scannell, is a nationally recognized authority in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection of metals in concrete. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He is a National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) certified Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist. Mr. Scannell is also a NRMCA certified Concrete Technologist. He has been professionally involved in corrosion of reinforced concrete structures and cathodic protection for over 17 years and has authored numerous technical publications on corrosion of metals in concrete, corrosion protection technology, including cathodic protection, and structure evaluations.
