CITO - A Division of OCE Inc. bridges the gap between Ontario's academic researchers and innovators in the industrial and business communities. We bring these groups to the table, investing in connections that create new technologies and develop highly skilled people, and enriching the competitiveness of Ontario's communications and information technology sectors.
CITO is a division of Ontario Centres of Excellence Inc., a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to establishing Ontario as the place to be for innovation. OCE Inc. achieves this through the development of R&D collaborations between industry and post-secondary research, training highly qualified people (HQP), assisting technology transfer, and facilitating the commercialization of new technologies.
Each OCE Inc. division focuses on achieving these goals in a specific technology sector; CITO serves the communications and information technology sectors– two areas that are vital to Ontario's prosperity. We act as a trusted agent, creating a framework within which productive partnerships between Ontario's academic, industrial and business communities can be created.
