Keewatin Farm :: Home

Description

Keewatin Farm is located on the southern Canadian prairie, only thirty minutes from downtown Regina, the capital of the province of Saskatchewan. The 320 acre farm, owned and operated by Elaine McNeil and Will Oddie, is primarily a field-crop operation growing a variety of cereals, oilseeds, and pulses - certified organic (OCIA) since 1991. Keewatin Farm is also home to a herd of Canadien horses - Canada’s National Horse.The farm has a beautiful yard centred around a lovely Edwardian red-brick two-storey house, with an abundance of plantings including hedgerows of mature spruce trees, and only a few hundred yards from a small prairie valley, with its own briskly-flowing stream, and a sampling of indigenous creatures - foxes, deer and a variety of birds and water fowl, and coyotes. Located away from the main road, we are blessed with quiet moments and unimpeded sunsets. Whatever your need - be it B&B, Bed and Bale, Farm Vacation, Special Events Hosting, Organic Products, or Canadien horses - please get in touch with us.
