Brian Budsberg: Attorney at Law and Bankruptcy Trustee
Description
Mr. Budsberg's practice is limited to representation of individuals and business entities in Bankruptcy and includes cases in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13. In addition to representing debtors since 1980, Mr. Budsberg is, and has been since 1989, a Court appointed Bankruptcy Trustee administering Chapter 7 cases for the Court. Mr. Budsberg has experience in over 15,000 bankruptcy cases.
A graduate of the University of Puget Sound and the Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Budsberg furthered his education at Notre Dame London Law Centre in England. He was admitted to bar in 1980 and has been an attorney with Owens Davies since 1984.
A long time member of the Executive Committee of the WSBA debtor/creditor section, he has also lectured frequently on bankruptcy related matters. Mr. Budsberg has received statewide recognition for his experience in bankruptcy law. He has represented clients before bankruptcy courts in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, California and Washington. Mr. Budsberg has developed a strong practice in all areas of bankruptcy, with emphasis on complex workouts and representation of banks and secured creditors. His goal is to help people and businesses in the South Puget Sound area that have financial problems. Mr. Budsberg is currently accepting clients requiring assistance in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters.
