- As with many musicians, Brad started on the piano at an early age when he became immediately self-driven to be an accomplished pianist. He recognized the importance of education by obtaining a degree in music from the University of Pittsburgh and a masters degree from Columbia University. To enhance his skills and playing style, he studied classical music with Dr. Judith Alstadter (Julliard, Yale) , Natalie Phillips (Pittsburgh), Phillip Meyers (Principal Hornist, NY Philharmonic) and Frank McCarty (Pittsburgh). At Pittsburgh he studied jazz with Nathan Davis and with Bert Konowitz at Columbia University in New York.
