The history of BodyZone Apparel traces its roots back to the Rock 'n Roll Industry in Southern California during the late 90's.
Owner Ray Grden was busy pursuing his music career as a drummer in a rock band playing clubs up and down the legendary Sunset Strip. Parties on the Strip were a wild mix of musicians, beautiful dancers and fans.
To subsidize his income as a musician, Ray began selling dancewear. After his band broke up, he along with fellow band mate, Tom Ruffin, moved to Phoenix to open up "in club" boutiques where they could sell their product.
