Company History
Allied Wire & Cable is a family owned and operated company, founded in 1988. Over the past twenty years, Allied has grown into one of the largest manufactuer/distributers in the industry. What began as a single office in Pennsylvania has grown into a multi-state operation with over 100 employees at the company headquarters in Collegeville, PA and the other office locations in Merrimack, NH; Pewaukee, WI; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Mauldin, SC; Mt. Juliet & Smyrna TN; and Rowlett, TX.
Prior headquarters locations have been in Bridgeport and Phoenixville, PA. After growing out of these locations quickly over the course of the company's short history, Allied moved into the current headquarters location in a new office complex located in Collegeville. Completed at the end of 2008, this new building is over 80,000 square feet and houses much of the company's $10 million inventory of products.
